In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £5.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

ENTRIES
• All entries to be made on Horse-Events
• Closing date for entries: Wednesday 10th January 2024
• Teams can be mixed gender in all classes. Individuals will be placed into mixed branch teams where possible.
• Start times will be available no later than Wednesday 17th January
• Full refunds will be given up until the closing date only
• In the event of cancellation/ abandonment of the event, the entry fee less £5 will be refunded for each competitor
• The organisers reserve the right to amalgamate classes depending on entries
• Result will be available on ponyclubresults.co.uk
• Rosettes to the first 6 individuals in each class
• Rosettes to first 3 individuals in each phase of each class
• Team rosettes will be awarded to first 6 teams in classes 1- 4
SHOOT
• The Open/Intermediate Class 5 will start the shooting
• Protective glasses are COMPULSORY for shooting at 7m.
• Guns must remain boxed until the range steward gives the order to “unbox” at the start of the detail
• and must be “boxed” again before the competitor leaves the firing point
• At all other times guns must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place or remain in the
possession of an adult
• Pistols must be flagged before any person moves forward of the firing point during a detail
• No person under the age of 18 may be responsible for or carry a gun
• All shooting competitors must have received adequate shooting training
• Competitors to wear long trousers and suitable footwear that does not cover the ankle
• First-time competitors are very welcome but no first-time shooters
RUN
• All runs will be a mass/ group start of no more than 10
• No pacing allowed
• Inhalers cannot be carried and used whilst running
SWIM
• Buoyancy aids will be allowed in Class 1 only
• Only one parent/ guardian per child poolside please
• Only competitors who have been trained for a ‘competition start’ may use the starting blocks
• Parents of competitors must disclose allergies in relation to the swimming pool to the organiser, prior
to the competition
EVENT ETHOS
We would like to assume that every competitor entering has done so with the prospect of enjoyment and aim of improving personal and team goals. We warmly welcome those new to triathlon and hope to encourage and enthuse further participation in this great event. For parents/carers supporting the event we also ask you to enjoy the day and help your children identify the many positive aspects of their participation. For many to stand up and compete in a triathlon is a big achievement in its own right!
DIRECTIONS
Dogs are not permitted at Leweston School
No smoking or vapes at Leweston School in the buildings or the grounds.
Disabled access – please contact the organiser if disabled access is required.
Please do not wear or bring outside shoes into the pool area.
The Cedars café is open from 9am until 4 pm serving hot and cold drinks and bacon baps etc.
Leweston School is signposted from the A352 approximately 3 miles south of Sherborne.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
CONCUSSION ADVICE: On the entry form, please will parents confirm that if their child has had a head injury/concussion within 21 days of the event, the child will not compete on the 21st January.
