SHOOTING Protective or prescription glasses are recommended at all levels of competition and are COMPULSORY for competitors shooting at 7m. Guns must be kept in their cases until the Firing Point Steward gives the order to “unbox” them at the start of a detail, and must be “boxed” again before the competitor leaves the firing point. At all other times guns must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place (i.e. in a vehicle out of sight). No person under 18 years of age may be responsible for, or carry a gun
OBJECTIONS Please note that any objections to the scoring for each discipline should be emailed to the scoring team (email address to be supplied before the day)
PHOTOGRAPHIC RIGHTS Photographic Rights – competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club.
COMMUNICATIONS It is essential that we are supplied with a mobile phone number for every competitor so that we can stay in touch during the build up to our event. Please make sure that the holder of each mobile number has given permission for their number to be used in this way
AREA 9 WINTER TRI SERIES The Malvern PC Triathlon will count towards the Area 9 Triathlon Competition in which competitors’ three best scores from the; 16th Dec 2023 – CVFH 21st Jan 2024 – Malvern 4th Feb 2024 – Beaufort 13th Apr 2024 – Cotswold & Minchinhampton will count towards the championship: All competitors from Area 9 will be included automatically (there is no need to enter separately). Tankards (returnable to Area 9) will be awarded to the Boys and Girls winners in each class, with rosettes for the first 6 Girls and Boys in each class. As with the Pony Club Winter Triathlon Championships, a combined Intermediate/Open Class will be run, with Boys running 3,000 metres and swimming for 4 minutes
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
LEGAL LIABILITY
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by the
